sometimes sounds like Erase Her. I’ve often wondered who the her is and why must she be eliminated. Gendered yet nameless she fights to be heard.
Rebecca Beardsall is currently in her second year of the MFA program at Western Washington University. She has more than fifteen years’ experience in freelance writing in the United States and abroad. Her poetry has been published in various literary journals. She has written and co-edited three books: Philadelphia Reflections: Stories from the Delaware to the Schuylkill and Western Pennsylvania Reflections: Stories from the Alleghenies to Lake Erie, and Western Washington Reflections: Stories from the Puget Sound to Vancouver.
