"Unsettled" by Cindy O'Quinn

Unsettled

It’s when you look up and see

a painting draped across the sky

hanging there just above the trees.

There is a shift in the wind,

and the clouds that were strung together

have now been torn apart.

Held in place

for a short while

long enough for you to enjoy.

Little Blue was there,

but only briefly,

and I saw his beauty.

Like the shifting wind

he was unsettled,

and therefore took his end.
